You bring up many interesting points! And while I definitely don’t want to be entirely ignored by men, I am relieved to not have to worry as much about certain behaviors. I also agree that it’s important for us as parents to discourage these behaviors in our sons (I have a son, too) so that the “burden” of physical beauty doesn’t have to be borne by girls alone.
