Yes, yes, and yes. I just became a co-owner at the worker-owned cooperative where I work and this is my first order of business! I recently wrote a story called "A Different Argument for a Four-Day Workweek," which acknowledges the importance of work/life balance but also how the 40-hour workweek protects the status quo. How can we build climate resiliency when we're just stuck on our work treadmills? How can working moms like me fight for paid leave and universal childcare when they literally don't even have a spare hour for themselves, let alone their communities?
