Yes! Whenever I read a book or see a movie about war, I'm always struck by the immense mess and waste it creates. Destroyed buildings, families, lives. The sheer amount of time a country has to spend not growing or improving or evolving, but simply rebuilding to get back to some semblance of where it was. We waste so much time destroying things and people. If we remembered our kindergarten lessons and had to clean up after ourselves maybe we wouldn't be so eager.
