Yes, I'm in the U.S. and are paid leave policies (or lack thereof) are absolutely awful. In my home state of Oregon, we recently passed a three-month paid leave policy that's better than most U.S. states, but I still think six months should be the minimum. It wasn't until then that I felt I had some semblance of ownership over my body and identity. Hopefully we'll catch up to every other developed country on Earth soon! Thanks for reading.
