Whenever I feel, or am made to feel, like I should be prioritizing work more, I think about a line I once heard: "No one on their deathbed ever said, 'I wish I'd spent more time at the office.'"
I once worked for a company where "No Regrets" was a core company value. I never liked it. I totally understand not getting stuck in regret, as you discuss, but regret is a powerful emotion that urges us to pause and take stock. Denying it doesn't do us any good.
