Well, I guess I've been sleeping under a rock, but I'm not at all surprised that a social media platform has released another ethically dubious tool. I'm not at all surprised it's a tool that caucasifies and (I just made that word up, but I'm going with it) female faces and freezes them in expressions that will appease the male gaze. I'm fighting like hell to keep my 11yo daughter off this platform and every day it feels like an uphill battle. Thanks for another highly insightful, if highly depressing, story!
