This story has nothing to do with crude vs. wholesome humor. It's about unoriginal humor. Marc Maron and Ali Wong are both deliciously crude -- and entirely original. If I'm going to joke about men, I'm not going to joke about them being slobs. Sorry, it's been done, and it's just not that funny. If you're going to joke about women, please at least say something that hasn't been said by hundreds of comics before you. Bonus points if your jokes actually reflect 21st century realities.
