If I had to do it over, I'd actually sit down with my partner and come up with a new last name for our family. Even if I'd kept my last name, I still wouldn't have liked having a different last name from my partner and probably children. I love the idea of finding a perfect-fit last name together. It just didn't even occur to me as an option back then.
