Thanks for sharing your perspective! And it's so true that especially these days, racism is easier felt than explained. I'm trying very hard with my children to celebrate their skin, hair, and heritage. After years of ponytails, my daughter has recently begun wearing her hair down and it's a beautiful sight to see.
