My husband was accused of attempting to murder someone with his car. He did not "do the deed." He defended himself against three attackers and a potential hate crime by giving one of them a fat lip. You don't have to tell me it was a bad idea to go over there, but the consequences were entirely disproportionate to the so-called crime.

The elderly Black man I was referring to was my father in law. My husband is a few years older than me, so I doubt that's a factor.

And yes, next time I will get the license plates! ;)
