Thank you so much for sharing your story. My daughter is nine-year-old and an early bloomer. It scares the crap out of me, mostly because I'm worried about how the world outside our home will treat her. (My latest Medium story is actually about this, after my first experience seeing her get catcalled.) The most helpful thing has been getting advice from those who experienced this as children (I was an unusually late bloomer myself) and what they wished the adults in their life had done. Our girls deserve better!
