So glad you've been able to do things your way and have experienced contentment both in and out of marriage. I will say that divorce has shed an entirely new light on marriage for me, toxic or not. Yay for long-term commitment, if I find someone I'm happy with, but my goodness, I will never tie up my finances with someone else again or legally bind my future to theirs!
