It's so interesting to look back at high school from our vantage point! I was squarely in the middle -- neither popular nor "nerdy," and I was mostly just fine with that. I also found sports to be invaluable when it came to making friends and building confidence. I also think that notions of popularity are evolving -- Cobra Kai has done a phenomenal job of exploring the differences between the high school kids of the '80s and those of today. I'm curious, though not impatient, to see what awaits my daughter!
