It can all seem daunting, to be sure. But really, I think it simply starts with leaning into discomfort. Pay attention to any moments when you have an opportunity to advocate for someone of color (in an authentic way, not a "white savior" way), whether that's at work, in a social setting, or simply while out and about. It's likely you'll find yourself wanting to stay silent because it puts you in an awkward or uncomfortable position. But speak up! Maybe you won't say the right thing, or maybe you'll face negative consequences, but this is where it all starts.
