In hindsight, yes, absolutely. But it was easy to justify at the time, since his new job was 1.5 hours away from home and they were able to offer him an apartment for less than our phone/Internet bill! We also both knew we'd benefit from some space. I actually wrote all about this before our separation -- it's the story pinned on my profile :)
