I'm not saying people in other countries, particularly women, aren't being exploited. Sadly, violence, subjugation, and exploitation happen around the world. But our particular blend of exclusion, inequality, competition, violence, subjugation, and rugged individualism is absolutely unique -- particularly when compared to other high-income countries.
