I'm all about the long game, so that's great to hear! I'm sick and tired of feeding a mysterious algorithm -- I don't like playing games when they keep changing the rules (and not telling us!). I do like a lot about Medium but I'm excited to build something on Substack, even if it takes longer. Keep me posted on your new publication, I'd love to subscribe!
