I often felt like the odd one out growing up because I was only allowed one hour of TV a week and didn't know anything about all the shows my classmates talked about. In retrospect, I'm so glad my parents limited my screen time so much and forced me to learn how to be creative when I was bored. Whether or not it was intentional on your part, I'm quite sure your kids will thank you someday!
