I definitely feel this. I also feel like even if I had the time, I wouldn't really want to write more than one story a week (that's my cadence, and I'm sticking to it!) For one, I only have so much to say. I think it would be such an interesting experiment for Medium to allow writers to only post once per week. Then people who are busy being, say, moms and full-time workers, could have a better shot at being seen by the all-mysterious Medium algorithm. I've been in digital marketing for decades; I get why posting more gets you more eyeballs. But does it have to be that way? If the algorithm is rewarding the folks who can simply knock off more stories and if the stories most likely to get rewarded are those about how to achieve success on the platform, is Medium really achieving what it's setting out to achieve? I have to believe there's a better way!
