I couldn't agree more, and I love the historical context. You always do your research! The story I'm working on this week is about how segregated our spaces are (adult spaces, which are most of them, vs. child spaces, where adults usually hang on the sidelines and wish they could order a beer), and also the lack of collective responsibility we feel when it comes to raising our next generation, whether or not we have children of our own. This is all very much on my mind!
