Absolutely agree that the intersection of career and motherhood is hardly talked about at all and just something we're expected to muddle through when the time comes. For me, I don't honestly want to focus exclusively on my family, but I'd definitely like more time with them, more time for me, and more time to invest in my immediate community. When your career can intersect with your immediate community, for me that's the best of both worlds!
