100% spot on. And on the rare occasion that shows do center moms (Marvelous Ms Maisel, Workin’ Moms, Parenthood etc…) the experiences portrayed on screen rarely resemble real life. That daily grind is still completely glossed over, the children are often conspicuously absent/not accounted for, and the moms always seem to find time to get their nails done and eat brunch on random Tuesdays with all the friends who they’re somehow able to make time for.
